The PUREJEEP Crawler Gas Tank Skid, Part Number PJ5100, for the 1997-06 Wrangler TJ and LJ Unlimited adds essential protection to your Jeep fuel tank allowing it to shrug off rough terrain. Made from 3/16 steel that is made from laser cut and precision formed, the factory dimple for the fuel pump well is duplicated to properly support the plastic tank bottom and prevent cracking and fuel leaks. In addition, the raises the bottom of the tank another 1/2 inch outside the fuel pump dimple area. The PJ5001 replaces the factory shield and uses the existing factory attachment points. |
