We developed this armor after one of our team drivers grazed a rock at 50MPH in the 2010 King of The Hammers (KOH) race. It didn't put him out of the race but easily could have so we came up with these. If you think you are likely to dish out that kind of abuse I would suggest it as an option.

They are 3/16" thick and like plywood, layered together the become stronger than seperately.
